    I am a frequent customer that doesn't always plan when I use this hotel; this was the first time I every felt unwelcome at Rydges.

    Stayed here while I was in Darwin for work. Close to the airport (7 min walk) and seems like a nice place. Rooms are reasonably basic but who goes to a resort to sit in a hotel room?

    I arrived at 10pm with out a reservation. After presenting my rewards card, I was told that there was no rooms and no cleaning staff for Sunday, so I could not have a room.

    I went over to Hotel side and presented rewards card and was charged a 100 deposit for a small room as if I was a drifter.
